A new way

We looked outside of IT to other industries who had been dealing with complex planning, emergency services, and risk management, for decades.  This sometimes yielded subtle, and sometimes vastly different processes from what the IT industry was using.

More importantly, it delivered consistent results and aligned IT with businesses processes and challenges. It had a purpose and a strong cultural emphasis on putting people first (technology is just a tool). We are what I call business nerds.
